This elegant stool is a refined example of modern Danish design. It was crafted by an experienced Danish cabinetmaker in the 1950s. The piece stands out with its hexagonal seat and softly shaped legs, whose rounded, almost bulbous forms give the stool a sculptural and approachable character. This stool features solid oak legs; their gentle curves provide a sense of visual weight and organic fluidity, thus combining structure and softness. The seat has been recently reupholstered in a sumptuous natural lambswool in a honey colour, which adds warmth and comfort while beautifully complementing the smooth, rounded contours of the oak structure. This refined stool harmonises with many interior styles, including modern, antique, Scandinavian, classic, rustic, or Art Deco decor.
