We are delighted to offer for sale this charming vintage Chinese wedding buffet from around 1900, hand-painted and lacquered, decorated with gold leaf butterflies, intended for use with folded linen, etc. A very aesthetic and well-designed piece, highly sought after today as art furniture. It features a structure made of patinated and lacquered elm, hand-painted in gold. In good condition after deep cleaning, waxing, and hand polishing, with normal signs of patina related to age and use.
