A small and vibrant modernist oil composition, featuring a city skyline where rows of tall buildings are set against a striking red background. Painted in an expressive manner, the artist has used blocks of rich and saturated colour, hints of bold outlines, and areas of impasto (where the paint has been applied thickly such that it stands proud from the surface) to make up this beautifully textured and striking piece that evokes tactility.
