Superb set of 10 dessert plates in Limoges porcelain art deco

Set of 10 flat plates (Dessert) in Limoges porcelain, featuring the BF stamp (from the Balleroy Fauré factory). Authentic Art Deco style: The decoration is particularly sought after and emblematic of the interwar period. The wide bright yellow border is adorned with an elegant wading bird in flight (heron/crane) and stylised water lilies in pink, red, and black. The edges are enhanced with a fine gold line, present but patinated by time. Overall excellent condition considering their age. Slight wear to the gilding in places, no cracks or chips on the 10 plates. Diameter: 19 cm. Total weight of the lot: 2445 grams.
