Paintings engraving Shizuo Ashikaga, Japan

This beautiful set of 2 japanese engravings is the work of the artist shizuo ashikaga (1917-1991). These engravings depict birds in a cherry blossom and on climbing plants. Beautifully crafted, the drawings are precise and detailed. It is a work of the mid-20th century. Signed lower left, with a red inkan. These paintings measure 28 X 22 cm. They are labeled at the mine: cherry blossoms" - "teaoil plant by ashikaga". I report small stains on paper and wear on frames.
