Set of 6 chairs bistro Fischel early XX century

Set of 6 bistro chairs in varnished beech from the famous fischel brand. Fischel company founded in 1871 in prague by david gabriel fischel, then taken over by his eldest son who worked at thonet and who developed the thermoformed turned wood furniture factory in czechoslovakia. These are made of beech, with original finishes, the backrest called "gendarme hat" with 3 vertical bars, with labels or traces of fischel labels. They come from an old auvergnat bistro. Condition: they have served of course so they have a beautiful old patina with traces of uses, some small shocks and small old holes scattered. ( see photos ) They have obviously been treated against xylophagi, cleaned and revised. Timeless, rare in this state, icon of the bistros of yesteryear, these chairs will give a vintage bistro side in your interior, shop or restaurants. Height: height 87 cm. Seat height 46 cm.
