Vintage Mid-Century Scandinavian Modern Beech Safari Director's Chairs

This set of two director's chairs was manufactured in Scandinavia during the 1960s. This type of folding chair is often called Safari. Crafted from solid beechwood, valued for its durability, uniform structure, and warm, honey-coloured tone. The seat and backrest, made of high-quality canvas, provide a contrast to the wood. Soft yet resistant to abrasion and stretching, it offers natural simplicity at its finest, combining classic design with practical functionality. Due to its folding design, the chair is perfect for both the patio, garden, and home interior. The chairs are in original vintage condition. They show minor signs of age and wear.
