Vintage, Victor Vasarely Op Art print circa 70's

Gorgeous, Op Art gallery print "TUZ", by Victor Vasarely, "Progression 2", series from Editions du Griffon, Neuchâtel/Suisse, in 1972. ~ The original print was made in 1965 by Vasarely and measured at 84 cm H x 84 cm W. ~ This print from 1972, measures at 41 cm H x 41 cm W. ~ With the matte, it's 39cm H x 39 cm W and identifiable by the copyright used by Griffon, on the back of its editions. ~ Dimensions of the frame: 54cm H x 54 CM W. Print is in excellent, original condition. There are no rips, holes, tears, stains, etc. Because it was kept in its original frame behind glass with a matte, the varying grades of orange, blue, black and burnt umber colors, remain bright and bold. ~ Signed "Vasarely" underneath the middle circle, of the last row of the mass of shapes that form a square. ~ On the bottom, left-hand corner at the rear, is the identifiable, copyright from Griffon. ~ Light signs of age and use (small dents, & dings) commensurate with time, on the original, silver-colored, brushed- metal frame. ~ The glass and matte have been replaced, as have the lining and mounting wire at the rear. With that said, the Griffon copyright stamp, name of the piece and year printed, are no longer visible, but a scan of that identifiable image, was made and placed on the right, bottom corner at the rear. This is truly a stunning piece of mid-century op art by a true master, that displays extremely well and will work as a beautiful accent piece in any given space.
