Old ochre metal bedside tables from a boarding school.

Pair of tubular metal bedside tables, originating from 20th-century collective furniture, most likely from a boarding school. Tubular structure, continuous lines, correct proportions. Each piece consists of a top shelf, a drawer with a light wood front, and a lower shelf. The recently applied ochre finish softens the utilitarian appearance while highlighting the rigour of the original design. Note: on one of the tops, there is a granular appearance due to rust that has been treated (see last photo).
