Ziegler Oriental Rug 406x296 cm

Afghan Ziegler rug handmade in wool circa 1960. Rug with a 19th century design, beautifully crafted using a fine weave and a delicate pattern. This is a Ziegler rug, a rare and timeless style. The very low cut pile gives you different shades depending on the angle. In order to give the Ziegler rug an original, worn look, the rug is sun-bleached and finished with sandstone. Not only the worn look, but also the design with wide edges, attractive colors and centered patterns was adopted. Thanks to its antique look, the Ziegler rug exudes a warm and lively atmosphere. Dimensions: 406x296 cm. Condition: Good condition, four light stains in the first beige border (see last photo), light soiling on the fringes (which give a worn effect).
