Folding ladder for olive trees. (Spain, 1940s/50s)

Foldable wooden ladder. Simple and practical, these ladders were traditionally used in Spain for olive harvesting. Wide and stable base, lightweight and easily transportable, healthy wood. The rungs are originally assembled to the posts with nails, replaced in some places by bolts. Usable for its primary function, but often transformed into drying racks, indoors or outdoors. Dimensions: width (base) 161 cm, height 205 cm, depth (folded) 10 cm.
