Hand made primitive antique brutalist chair, Dutch 19th century

Just a wonderful primitive chair, hand made in the netherlands in the late 19th century in our opinion. This gorgeous armchair has a brutalist feel although needless to say it is much older. The chair is structurally excellent and shows it's age through various dings and possible very early repairs. Please see all pics. We also believe that at one point in time it probably had a middle slate in the lower back. We haven't replaced this as we did not want touch such an honest and lovely patinated chair. From the wear we can also see that this slate hasn't been there for over half a century and it doesn't really need it. The chair is large ( 120 cm high ) and a beautiful statement piece! The seat is at 43 cm high and is around 7 cm thick!!.
