Vintage metal tea towel holder

This tea towel hook from the forties is very special. It is a metal copy of a kitchen accessory produced by the famous german brand villeroy and boch in its earthenware factory in ̈mettlach. The tiles are imitated thanks to a stamped sheet that goes so far as to profile the black joints between tiles, hollow. The object passed through our workshops; we completely dismantled it, treated against rust, restored the chrome and reassembled everything. The hanging system on the back of the plate shows two possible positions. One visible and the other perfectly invisible. The rendering of this tea towel hook has nothing to envy to the famous german brand!.
