1930s bauhaus clip bakelite bedside lamp, Germany

Workshop lamp or clip-on wall lamp made in germany at the beginning of the 20th century. A minimalist lamp with an exposed bulb is a classic example of modernist industrial design, concise in form, with a switch in the housing and simple mounting. The bakelite is undamaged, the clamping mechanism works well and the lamp can be fixed in various places. The lamp gives a very nice illumination, bakelite in a marble-brown color. The lamp is fully operational and works on a single e27 bulb up to 60w, original installation for a european plug. The item is preserved in good original condition, it has slight traces of use, mainly visible on the cable. Dimensions without bulb: Height 9 cm|width 9cm|depth 4 cm. Dimensions in inches without bulb: Height 3.5 in|width 3.5 in|depth 1.6 in.
