Vintage lamp by Massive Belgium – textured moulded glass – 1960s/70s – E27 socket. A very beautiful vintage lamp from the Belgian manufacturer Massive, made of transparent moulded glass with geometric relief, characteristic of the decorative productions of the company. The amber glass features a spectacular relief surface composed of multiple facets and pyramid patterns, creating a stylised pine cone / pineapple effect. When illuminated, the glass captures and diffracts the light, producing numerous warm reflections. Period: circa 1960–1970, cautiously dated. Manufacturer: Massive, Belgium. Material: textured moulded glass, metal elements. Socket: E27. Style: Mid-Century Modern / Hollywood Regency / Belgian vintage. Marking: original MASSIVE label preserved inside. Condition: beautiful vintage condition, with any minor normal signs of age noted in the photographs. A particularly decorative piece that works well in a Mid-Century interior as well as in a more contemporary or eclectic decor. It can be used as a wall light, ceiling light, or, why not, as a table lamp! The lamp retains its original "MASSIVE" label inside, allowing for the identification of the manufacturer. Massive is a major Belgian lighting company founded in 1926, which developed a very large production of decorative lighting in glass, metal, and crystal throughout the 20th century.
