Carved exotic indonesian wooden jewelry box. The grounds of rafflesia flowers are characteristic of the indonesian archipelago and the proto-malay culture. Purchased in java in the 1990s at the jakarta antiques market, a unique piece. The wood is varnished. Excellent condition. Two levels of storage: on top, five compartments and a small removable locker with two compartments that conceals the bottom of the cabinet.
