Lithography engraving vintage birds - buffon 1850. Stunning colorful bird engraving from a buffoon edition. This is two couroucous. The paper is ivory color, very pretty and quite light. In very good condition. Original extremely well preserved. About 1850. The beautiful illustrated subjects of these period editions are becoming rare now. Chic in the finesse of typography and engraving strokes. The colors are original, engraving enhanced at the time. The colors are very beautiful, especially yellow, pink and blue worthy of a klein blue. The names of the birds are written in italic scripts with very beautiful solids and untied in typography. We must be aware that this document has gone through at least 170 years; yet it is almost intact! Beautiful once framed. 17 X 25 cm.
