Vintage office or dining armchair with wooden frame in natural light wood color, cane seat and backrest, and tubular chrome base. The chair was produced in around the 1970s in Italy. The Cesca chair was designed in 1928 by Marcel Breuer. In that time, it was the first such tubular-steel frame caned seat type of chair that was mass-produced. One of the original ones from that time sits in MoMA. It is known as one of the most important chairs of the 20th century. The chair is in vintage condition with original patina. There are quite a few scratches on the wooden frame, mostly on armrests. Chrome has some rusty marks. Please check the photos for details, and feel free to ask for more if needed.
