Humorous caricature of stewards aboard a transatlantic liner. Original watercolor enhanced pen drawing by robert veltier 1909-1991. Known under two pseudonyms: bozz for his caricatures, then rob-vel for the creation of the character of spirou. He spent his youth on transatlantic ships (300 crossings) where he spent time making caricatures. Then he attended the belgian school of comics and created the character of spirou and participated in the newspaper. Work 32.5 X 24 cm, frame 35 X 26 cm. Sending on glass in this format presents a small risk.
