“Bowtie” silkscreen poster on washi paper by Isamu Noguchi

This Bowtie silkscreen print by Isamu Noguchi is printed in Japan by the OZEKI & Co workshop, which has been manufacturing the Akari lighting collection since the 1950s. Created in 1954 to adorn the 1AT (Terracotta) and 1AR (Red) versions of the Akari lamp, this original silkscreen print is presented in a solid oak frame without glass. Printed on handmade washi paper made in Japan, it may contain small defects, plus and small spots, inherent to the handmade nature of the product.
