Five-branch brass and glass chandelier by Paavo Tynell for Idman OY Finland, 1940s.

This exceptional chandelier was designed by Paavo Tynell for Idman Oy and dates from the 1940s. It is a masterful example of mid-century Finnish lighting design, where elegance, craftsmanship, and a sense of playful refinement are harmoniously combined. The chandelier is made of brass and features five gracefully curved arms extending from a sculptural central stem adorned with delicate brass leaves. Each arm supports a translucent milk glass shade, which softly diffuses the light and creates a warm, atmospheric ambiance.
