Pair of chairs by charles and ray eames, herman miller edition of the 1970s. The hull is made of herman miller stamped fiberglass, and is covered with a green and blue chevron pattern wool by alexander girard. The legs are made of metal covered with white rilsan and are a little lower (seat height about 36cm) than the base for the table chair. These chairs can be placed around a coffee table for example. These chairs come from the ena cafeteria which was at the time rue d'ulm in paris. They were then distributed by mobilier international. Beautiful vintage condition with a very small snag on one of the seats, and traces of wear of the wool on the other (see photos). The screws on one of the chairs are missing. The legs are in good condition with some traces of wear.
