Since the early 1950s, when Charles and Ray Eames developed their Plastic Chairs, these furniture have become icons of mid-century American modernism. In particular, the DAR (Dining Height armchair Rod Base) seat stands out as a unique classic creation combining lightness and elegant shapes with structural rigour in the construction of complex steel wire on its "Eiffel Tower" base. Seat shell: polypropylene tinted. Pedestrian: steel wire base with braces, chrome finish or epoxy. The epoxy-finished variant is suitable for outdoor use. (DAR - Dining Height Armchair Rod Base).
