Lachenal blue ceramic box

Large box in cracked blue enameled stoneware, with geometric decoration, by the french workshop of edmond lachenal (1855-1948), a french ceramist, painter and sculptor, and his son raoul, ceramist. Dimensions: h 15 cm, b 11 cm, max diameter: 17.5 cm. Lachenal handwritten signature on the reverse. Note original defects in the glaze (especially orange peel, perhaps the piece is a proof) and a 2 mm enamel break, inside the box – see photos. Free colissimo delivery in france.
