This Danish mid-century teak side chair comes from Denmark and was most likely made by Farstrup Mobelfabrik in the 1960s. It features a meticulously crafted solid beech wood frame in teak color and a backrest in teak wood. Masterfully carved and joined solid wood frame and new natural recycled wool upholstery in a grey color are a perfect combination of vintage Scandinavian craftsmanship and modern sustainability, and make the chairs stylish and extraordinary. The shape of the backrests speaks for itself: ergonomically bent with an elongated oval shape, offers excellent support and rest for your back. The use of molded plywood allowed for a lightweight yet robust structure. The chairs have been reupholstered in grey recycled wool with a subtle pattern, which beautifully complements the wooden frame and adds harmony to contemporary interiors filled with artificial materials. Despite the passage of time, this piece remains in excellent vintage condition. The wood has been cleaned and treated with professional compounds to protect and enhance its natural beauty. Although the manufacturer’s label has not been preserved, the appearance of the chair and the materials used suggest that it is most likely model 210, produced by Farstrup. Seat height: 46 cm.
