Antique farmhouse table in walnut, turned legs, France

This magnificent antique table has been carefully restored in our workshop. It is in very good overall condition and remains perfectly solid and stable structurally. It features stunning turned legs, to which we have discreetly and respectfully added a slight raise to optimise the height while maintaining its original character. The apron is richly detailed and showcases beautiful period craftsmanship. To enhance the wood and reveal its depth, the base has been nourished with several layers of walnut-stained Libéron wax, providing a warm and very elegant patina. The top has been enriched with Danish oil and then protected with tinted Libéron Bistrot varnish. This finish offers better protection for daily use while preserving the natural and authentic appearance of the wood. Very versatile, it can perfectly serve as a dining table thanks to its generous 61 cm legroom, but also as a desk, display table, console, or kitchen island. Like any authentic antique piece, the table has lived and shows some signs of time and use. These small imperfections are part of its history and, in our opinion, contribute to the charm and authenticity of this beautiful antique table. Nevertheless, it remains in excellent overall condition for its age. We have photographed the top in detail to clearly show these signs of time and ensure complete transparency regarding its condition. Dimensions: 188 cm in length × 83 cm in width, standard height of 76 cm, ideal for comfortable daily use. An authentic antique table with remarkable charm and a superb patina.
