Old chest or side table early XX

Old storage chest named maie with a flat lid folding on top. Period early 20th century in solid walnut, fully treated with insect repellent, sanded and top protected by matt clear varnish. 4 identical sides which allows it to be used in the middle of a room as a side table. One side of the trunk and one foot are attacked by wood insects. But this does not weaken the very solid structure of the furniture. Dimensions h 48 cm l 42 cm d 42 cm weight 7.2 kg.
