1980s “Flexion” table lamp by Cees Kranen for Indoor, Netherlands

A wonderful postmodern table lamp, model “flexion”, designed by cees kranen and manufactured by indoor in the netherlands around 1980. Made of tubular black metal on a rounded base, this piece is designed with a unique play of shapes which give it a memphis style appeal! The tall cylinder shaped shade allows a bright light to emit that adds really nicely to it’s style and emphasizes the rounded shapes of the design as it’s finished with black rings as a lovely detail. A beautiful and well designed piece that will be a really nice addition to any decor! It remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. It has some small marks on the shade but as you can see in the photos this is not really notable.
