Old and rare educational table, painted by F. Specht and published by Leipziger Schulbilderverlag von F. E. Wachsmuth, Leipzig in 1878. Of course, lithography is an extremely demanding technique - especially at this large scale - which required 15 to 20 cycles of manual printing for a single piece, because each color should be applied separately. These colors of course should not be to ride in the end. This process is giving lithographs their extraordinary depth and unusual longevity to their colors. Dimensions: 67cm wide x 92 cm in height. 27 "wide x 39" high Condition: this vintage item has visible damage, defects or missing parts. A few folds, rigidity and tanning, but overall very good condition considering its age and usage.
