Pair of vintage rounded crystal salt shakers with their matching spoon. Engraved signature: daum france the story begins in 1871, when the notary jean daum established himself in nancy and bought a modest glassworks. The son, antonin, quickly took over the business, refined the glass paste technique and began to produce pieces fully in line with the art nouveau trend. Recognition from the artistic community did not take long to come, and daum's delicate creations found a place of choice in the various universal exhibitions held between 1894 and 1897.
