An antique work table or refectory table in solid oak and oak veneer. Dating from the early 20th century, it is supported by three sturdy, stable double legs and is quite imposing and remarkable in size. It has been restored in a workshop, with its old varnish completely removed. It has been nourished and protected with a medium oak wax (Libéron's Black Bison Antique Wax) to restore its full luster. The one-piece tabletop is made of solid oak with a central section of oak veneer. It combines visual balance and structural integrity, making it ideal for large dining rooms or as a centerpiece in a spacious interior. The tabletop has a lovely patina, the wax accentuating the wood grain. The slender Art Deco-style legs lend it a discreet elegance that allows it to blend harmoniously into classic, contemporary, and country-style spaces. A rare and refined piece, perfect for those seeking authenticity, history, and craftsmanship. In excellent condition, it is perfectly sound, stable and robust. Visible signs of age: slight wear consistent with its age and use.
