1910s English Arts & Crafts Opaline Pendant Lamp with Hand-Painted Flowers

An original antique opaline glass globe shade with extensive and beautifully preserved handpainted flower decoration and attractive Arts & Crafts style brass gallery with louvred vents. Probably English-made, and likely home-painted from a hobbyist patterns book. The bright, naive style would fit any Bloomsbury-inspired interior. The lamp has been carefully cleaned and rewired with a brand new British-made solid brass B22 lamp-holder and a generous length of Italian 3-core double insulated cable with a decorative mottled grey linen brain, in-keeping with the period of the lamp. Accepts a single B22 bayonet cap bulb. Very minor wear to the paint and glass surface in very isolated places, and some rubbing to the patina on the bronze gallery, but generally excellent and ready to install. *Ships from the UK*.
