Nav_3 by Willy Bo Richardson is a limited edition print of an oil painting, created using UV printing on dibond. Print dimensions: 105x105 cm. The composition is built around a dynamic arrangement of vertical lines that define the structure of the piece and are main topic of the artists works. The piece preserves the character of the original painting with rich colors and fine detail. The dibond surface adds a clean, contemporary finish while ensuring durability and resistance to light and wear. The print has an attached French cleat hanging system so it is ready to be hung. Willy Bo Richardson (b. 1974, Santa Fe, NM) is an American contemporary painter whose work explores color, form and spatial perception through a meditative, modernist lens. He received his MFA in Painting from Pratt Institute in New York. His works are held in private and institutional collections worldwide, including the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History. Moreover Richardson’s paintings have been presented in New York, Santa Fe and Santa Monica, as well as in significant curatorial contexts such as 70 Years of Abstract Painting – Excerpts at Jason McCoy Gallery, where his work was shown alongside that of Jackson Pollock. In 2012, his work was also included in the prestigious Watercolors exhibition at Phillips de Pury & Company in Chelsea, further affirming his presence within both institutional and collector-driven circles.
