Vintage orange 1960s/70s mid century modern chrome and cased glass wall light

This is a stunning wall light fitting with a superb stylish chromed metal bracket and arm with a wonderful orange cased glass globe shade. Found here in france, it just says controle 413 on a sticker on the back, which doesn't help with identification. It could just as easily be italian or french. This would look great in a hall, kitchen, bathroom or living room, particularly in an alcove, and really good if you have a mid century modern style. The ideal gift for anyone with modernist style decor, and an ideal prop for any period production. A wonderful decorators piece, it is really magical how a statement lighting like this can transform the look of a room. In very good vintage condition, with only very minor age related scuffs to the chrome. As you can see it is currently in working order. You will need either a professional electrician or a confident diyer to fix this in your desired location, it will be up to them to get it working there. If you have any concerns about safety you should get it professionally tested too. It is designed to be used with a european 220/240 volt domestic power circuit, so if you are from a country with 120 volt mains (like usa for example) it might need adapting.
