A large composition of natural sciences, with taxidermed animals; insects, magpies and herbarium boards. Format 12p (61 X 46 cm), in its american box type frame. Signed mathelin (lucien) 1905 / 1981 french painter, work influenced by surrealism in trompe l'oeil, tinged with irony. The museum of montmartre preserves one of his works, as well as the museum of modern art. He participated in the realization of the fresco "the electricity fairy" by raoul dufy (museum of modern art of the city of paris).
