Jangada lounge chair with ottoman in cognac leather by Jean Gillon, Brazil, 1960s. A breathtaking design inspired by the markets and fishermen of Brazil, the Jangada chair is often considered Jean Gillon’s most celebrated work. The chair features a beautiful Brazilian hardwood frame, with a nylon 'fishing net' style knotted seat supporting the tan leather cushions. This unique construction, true to the chair’s name and inspiration, embraces the sitter and provides a highly comfortable seating experience.
