Murano turquoise lamp and pink silk lampshade 1940

Elegant murano glass lamp, mounted on a turquoise glass shower base, made using the technique of golden spangles (aventurina) and costolature (raised grooves). This lamp is in its original condition and in a remarkable state of conservation. We have chosen to offer it as is in order to leave room for possible modifications. The electrification is period, with a bakelite socket and a pink silk lampshade decorated with stylized bamboo motifs. The finesse of the production and the harmony of the colors lead us to attribute it to the house of barovier & toso.
