Silver-plated fish serving fork from Christofle, Marly model, reference no. 51. The Marly model is one of the great classics of Christofle silverware. Inspired by the Louis XV style and the rococo vocabulary of the 18th century, it is distinguished by rich chiselling of shells, foliage, and asymmetrical scrolls. This emblematic decoration accompanies the great French cutlery sets of the 20th century. Fish serving fork, identifiable by its wide flat blade allowing for lifting and presenting fillets. An antique piece in good used condition, showing normal signs of use visible on the serving surface. Good silver plating. Made in France, produced in the 1980s. Standard length of the model is 27 cm.
