Wicker magazine rack

Pretty wicker magazine rack with beautiful curves and proportions which must date from the 60s or 70s. I cleaned it carefully, with a brush and vinegar water. It is in good general condition, solid and stable, no damaged structural rod, but does not hide some signs of its age: the surface layer of the wicker on the end of one of the legs was a little damaged (splinter raised ), I glued it back together (see photos). And the strand of wicker covering a corner was damaged (partly still held in place thanks to the nail, but the exterior part of the strand was damaged, abraded), so I “redressed” this corner with a strand of wicker recovered from a old seat out of use. This did not jeopardize the solidity of the whole thing but I find that it looks neater once repaired. The repair is not identical because I did not want to remove the part of the original strand still in place (see the last 4 photos to compare the two faces of an original corner and the corner repaired). I then applied a very light coat of varnish over the whole thing to restore a little shine to this pretty object but above all to protect it for years to come, but obviously it still has its patina from the years, traces and various brands, original or not. It measures 45 cm high (at the top of the handle), 45 cm wide, 34 cm deep.
