It has many advantages: three positions (which you choose, sitting on it, lifting the armrests) including one almost lying down ideal for a nap under a tree in the garden. It is made of beautiful materials, rather qualitative for a garden armchair: velvet cladding of four colors (dark green, burgundy red, ochre and ecru), wooden armrests. It is fully removable, you can remove the foam filling, and thus pass the fabric part to the washing machine. It is foldable, so it can be taken away or stored in winter. And probably the most important point: it is comfortable! I passed the cloth part in the washing machine and cleaned the structure as best I could. This armchair probably dates from the 50s or 60s. It is still solid, functional, the foam filling is in good condition, the velvet too. But he has experience, it is undeniable: the white paint on the metal structure is peeled in places, has yellowed in places, has various and numerous marks and stains (and this despite a serious cleaning... One could imagine repainting the metal structure). A spring below is probably not original (it is not lacquered), a spring tended to detach from the frame, I fixed it with a small metal wire, it does not move anymore. A small transparent plastic cover is missing on the back on the end of a tube of the structure. I redid some seams that had given way (under the armchair, on the unbleached linen cover). On the velvet, 2 small abrasions at the back of the head, and 2 under the seat. A part has obviously been replaced on one of the hinges. It measures 97 cm max height (in the most seated position), 58 cm max width (at the armrests). Folded, its size is 85 by 58 by 30 cm. It weighs about 5 kg.
