Large cassolette

Very large bass cassolette. Bjorn wiinblad designed this "siena" model for rosenthal studio line. The manufacturer's mark on the base in a raised lozenge. The siena blue pattern was produced from 1977 to 1982. Hand-painted. Bjorn wiinblad (september 20, 1918-june 8, 2006) is an internationally renowned danish painter, graphic designer, designer and ceramicist. Work of silver, bronze, textiles... His work has been widely disseminated in europe, the united states of america since 1954, japan, australia and canada. 1985 named "man of the year" in new york. 1995 american-scandinavian foundation cultural award.
