Pair of chairs Thonet No.28 20th end heart shape

A pair of heart-shaped model of Thonet, Chair no. 28 so-called "Herzform", while "heart" - backrest, seat and ring of binding. It is part of the family of chairs in format to "public places", proportions more compact than the catalogue standards. However, we are dealing here with the 1890 version earning a few extra centimeters of height on the record (84 * cm against 80 cm on the first version of 1885). Good condition in their juice of seniority and maintenance home, old (inactive) shots blocked with wax. Former caning (probably original) still very properly subdued and functional (see photo). Thonet stamps under seat (small cartridge period 1885-1890 ca). Model has become rare, collector. Height 83 cm *-Assisi 'diameter' 37 cm (38 in width at the height, 35 cm deep between the hollow in the front and the back of the belt) - seat height 46 cm (* wear compared to the starting size of 1 cm).
