Coat rack in chrome travertine, Italian architectural design from the 1960s.

Unique coat rack with integrated umbrella stand. This beautiful piece comes from a modern mid-century villa in Sicily, Italy. The late owner was an avid collector of Italian design by Tobia Scarpa, Gio Ponti, Achille Castiglioni, and others. Unfortunately, we have not found another example of this coat rack in any Italian design magazines or books. This well-designed and practical piece can complement a truly modern mid-century interior.
