Set of six footed mazagrans in earthenware from Salins-les-Bains, dated from the 1970s. The pink and cream marbled glaze creates a nuanced, almost mineral surface. The decoration, applied twice around the rim, alternates deep blue and muted green in a stylised plant motif. The repetition of the decoration structures the piece without weighing it down. The shape is stable, balanced, with a well-defined foot. The chalice is tall and open, designed to accompany the slow gesture of a long coffee. Dimensions: – Total height: 14 cm. – Height of the chalice: 10.5 cm. – Diameter at the neck: 7.5 cm. An old chip is present on the foot of one piece, a testament to its use and history. A typical set from Salins' production: A tableware where the decoration imposes nothing, Where the material speaks above all. Price: €78.
