Thorens TD 184 Swiss made

The td 184 was launched in 1958 and was an immediate commercial success. The key to its success lies in the unique design of its "telephone dial" format selector (7", 10" and 12") and in the ease of use of the table, with automatic shutdown at the end of the stroke. The drive system was imported directly from the td 124: e 50 motor, stepped pulley and combined drive by rims and belts. The tray was however smaller (25 cm in diameter), the bl 104 aluminum reading arm was integrated into the chassis, and the chassis itself was made of sheet metal, while the more expensive models use a massive cast iron chassis. Completely revised and supplied with a new hood.
