French Art Deco mahogany writing desk with drawer, originating from the 1920s. Beautiful French writing desk from the early Art Deco period. Made of mahogany with inlaid intarsia of maple and ebony all around. The drawer is also provided with intarsia and has typically shaped handles. The tapered, ribbed legs add extra dimension to the model and have bronze flower-shaped knobs. Some small restorations to the inlay work and minor signs of use.
