Description
Robert picault (1919-2000) a genius ceramist, having worked closely with picasso and roger capron, he created his own alquifoux (mixture of lead sulfide and sand) and developed this very personal style inspired by the muslim middle ages with traced geometric patterns, in duotone, blue and manganese and especially green and manganese. He created a factory to fulfill orders from aga khan. The personal pieces are signed "picault" in full, after his departure the industrial pieces are signed "rp" this candy box was created by robert picault.
