Magnificent and rare Eye ball lamp (in the shape of an eye) from around 1970, completely in the spirit of the Space Age of the time. This model can be mounted as a wall light (base included, see last photo). Made entirely of chrome-plated steel (not to be confused with the much lower quality brushed aluminium model published by Ikea in its 1972 catalogue), the interior of the globe is satin cream, with the original checked wire (180 cm) and a Bakelite switch. It is mobile in all planes of space thanks to its two axes of rotation. The total height of the lamp is 23 cm, the diameter of the globe is 15 cm (opening 11 cm), the diameter of the base is 11 cm, and the thickness is 5 cm. In perfect condition (no scratches or dents), this Eye ball lamp is truly ultra high quality and beautiful. Super trendy, it will add a very chic design touch to your interior. And what can be said when lit (the anti-glare chrome bulb is of course included).
