Early Singer Factory Stool

A rare and early cast iron industrial machinist stools by singer. C.1900. A bit of an odd-ball, this stool has all the proportions and design of the early claw foot singer stool, but with rounded toes. We're unsure if at some point in it's history the owner had decided to round the toes (very professionally done!), it was a factory reject that wasn't scraped or perhaps a crossover piece into the later design. Either way, it's a fabulous looking stool and maybe the only one of it's kind. Height adjustable with simple and unique latch release mechanism.
