Large sculptural Italian mid-century modern chandelier, dating from the 1950s. The chandelier features an expressive geometric construction combining brass, chrome-finished metal, and decorative Murano glass. Eight cylindrical glass shades are arranged around the central structure, while numerous elongated smoked glass pendants hang from the brass framework, giving the piece a distinctive architectural appearance. The central stem is finished with elongated chrome elements and brass details, creating a strong contrast between warm and cool metals. The design is highly decorative but remains clearly rooted in Italian modernist lighting of the mid-20th century. The chandelier is accompanied by matching wall sconces from the same series, available separately. Very good vintage condition. There is a small chip on one of the pendants. Wiring replaced by a professional electrician. Dimensions: Width: 64 cm, Height: 90 cm. The lamp requires European 8xE14 lightbulbs and is compatible with the E12 USA socket. Works with standard bulbs, LED or halogen, 220V for Europe and 110V for the USA.
